You manage the long climb over the pass into the Drakalor Chain. As the valley below comes into sight, you notice a sign over an arch cut in the side of a mountain. Next to the ornate arch, a message has been carved into the stone.

Please note: I am no longer actively maintaining this site. Others have access to and are updating the FAQ section and (perhaps) the spoilers. Please do NOT e-mail thinker with questions, updates, or requests pertaining to the game, hint-through, spoilers, or FAQ. All such correspondence will be ignored. With my new family, I just don't have the time to devote to this site, but I am leaving it up since it still gets quite a few visitors and seems to still be helpful. Some sections that are duplicated elsewhere (like the file archives) may disappear in the future, but the FAQs, spoilers, and hint-through will remain up indefinitely.
Thanks for visiting!

thinker's hint-through
Feel free to wander through the chain. All the monsters have been disabled in anticipation of your tour. Do be careful of the spoiler traps; we carefully labelled them, but they could have a negative effect on your enjoyment of the realm. They are much like corruption traps--you might like the immediate benefits, but in the long run a price must be paid.

to the interior of the Drakalor Chain.
All areas are now included (except the new ending variants for g10, and the Minotaur Maze), and the shops are all installed and linked.

Please note (1) the tour is heavily dependent upon JavaScripting, and so is fairly unfriendly for folks with Scripting disabled (as in you can't get to the spoilers); links directly to many of the spoily bits can be found on the spoiler page; condensed spoilers in a text format are available from the spoilers page; (2) this tour of the Drakalor Chain has a humanly-slow creation engine that is going as fast as it can. It's not pretty yet (mapped images of play screens are planned), but I thought the content should go up first. This is being updated and appended frequently since 07 Jan 97, so no complaints about thoroughness, please. The tour contains spoilers only if the spoiler traps are activated, the rest contain mere hints (this is true near the start; the farther you go, the more likely you are to get indiscriminately spoiled. If you see something you consider a spoiler in what I consider the hints area, let me know so I can consider it).
